The Mélange tea series is inspired by different takes on Japanese zen gardens. When one buys and drinks tea, it is often for health benefits, calming their nerves, or helping them unwind. A zen garden in Japanese culture is supposed to evoke feelings of tranquility, calmness, and peace. With 3D geometric illustrated zen garden to give it a more modern twist and feel. These shapes create depth and add a bit of abstractness to the teas as a whole. Abstract art often focuses on expressing thoughts and emotions without reference to the physical world, and that is exactly what peace is seen as. Something you can not have physically. The name Mélange itself means a mixture or a medley. Tea is an assortment of herbs or fruits, blended together to create the perfect relaxing drink for you. The leaf above the name further depicts the idea of tea. As seen, each illustration of the zen garden and colours are associated with each flavour of the tea, and the layout is consistent throughout the product range.
