Complexion, the magazine that empowers BIPOC people through fashion. It features models in fresh, new, high-fashion; and it embraces BIPOC designers in Canada and the States. This magazine sheds light on the injustices within the community to educate others so that they can inspire this new generation to bring change and equality. They focus on reaching out to the communities that don’t get represented enough in the Fashion Industry and empower them.

App Design
The Complexions app, the extension of the magazine. This app merely focuses on connecting the BIPOC community and allies, offering personalized runways based on the user's interests and stories they’d be interested in. The purpose is to conquer injustice as a team.
To really win users’ hearts, we will provide a page that is personalized to their interests. After participating in a mini quiz when you sign up, you will always have stories catered to you on your “for you” page.
The app’s highlighted features would be the runway lookbooks connected to the shopping pages, and Complexions’s own social media page, The Social. The lookbook will help generate income for these brands we uplift, all while being able to socialize and share everything with other users.
Although this app will have more features than the magazine, users will be drawn to subscribing to the print/digital magazine, as the magazine will offer exclusive content. Through repetition, this creates subliminal advertising. When users land on their personalized page, they will always be offered the latest issue.
